Fall movie season is just getting started, and it’s already been quite busy for me. Beyond Fest is still underway, and I’ve attended several exciting screenings at the annual film festival, including: Scent of a Woman with Martin Brest and Al Pacino, Hoffa with Danny DeVito, a double feature of Beverly Hills Cop and the short film Hot Dogs for Gauguin with Martin Brest and Danny DeVito, and a double feature of The Sixth Sense and a surprise advance screening of Remain with M. Night Shyamalan! There are still a couple of screenings left in the fest that I’m very much looking forward to. The Academy Museum has been killing it as usual too; among my favorite screenings last month were Marie Antoinette with Sofia Coppola and Kirsten Dunst, and Halloween with John Carpenter and Jamie Lee Curtis. Those are just a handful of the many highlights in September, and October is set to be another fun month of movie-watching as we get more into the season. Before then, here’s everything I watched in theaters and at home over the past 30 days…
