Week one of 31 Days of Oscar is done! I’ve been trying to watch at least one movie on TCM a day, and so far I’ve been successful! Not all my viewings are new to me, but it’s always fun watching movies on TCM, especially in prime time when you get commentary before and after from Robert Osborne or Ben Mankiewicz.
All times listed are Central, so be sure to check your local listings. I’m including the studios that produced these Oscar-nominated films with the film’s genre as this year’s theme explores the studios that made them. Visit TCM’s website for additional information. And films marked with an asterisk are ones I’ve seen before.

Out of the ones you haven’t seen (and that you can still watch!), I’d say have some fun with ‘The Bachelor and the Bobby Soxer’!
It’s definitely a movie I’ve been meaning to check out, so I’ll try to watch it then!
