Happy New Year! December was a bittersweet month, as I reflected a lot on the screen legends we lost this past year through the films I watched in the last days of 2025. I’m eternally grateful we have their films to enjoy, and it was great to revisit some of their work, as well as discover movies of theirs I hadn’t seen before. In between the remembrances, I also caught up with several new releases, as well as some holiday favorites (which included a 35th anniversary screening of Home Alone at the Academy Museum with star Macaulay Culkin and director Chris Columbus!).
